About this event
The months leading up to the end of the year can be not so jolly for many British Columbians -- especially as we continue to navigate new ways of gathering and celebrating. Our mental health might be affected by it happening around us. It's a time of year that often puts extra pressure on us, and can affect our mental health in lots of different ways.
If you’re having a not so jolly end of the year and this is a hard time for you, it's important to remember that you are not alone.
Behind every British Columbian is a network of agencies that together provide 24 hours a day, seven days a week support for wherever you find yourself. We call it a continuum of care and support you in areas such as crisis intervention, suicide prevention, and long-term mental health support.
Join Asha Croggon (Crisis Lines Network), Jonathan Morris (CMHA BC) and Ivana Bilic (Crisis Centre of BC volunteer) as they update British Columbians on the free, accessible support and services available across BC.
Panellists
Asha Croggon, Director of the Interior Crisis Line Network
Jonathan Morris, Chief Executive Officer of the Canadian Mental Health Association, BC Division
Ivana Bilic, Volunteer Crisis Services Responder at the Crisis Centre of BC
