Arts & Culture Specific Student Wage Subsidy Program
Building your team? Students are a great resource for short-term or seasonal needs—not to mention that you’re shaping future arts and culture workers. Hiring a student is now easier with a wage subsidy of up to $7,500!
A new delivery partner for the Student Work Placement Program (SWPP), the Cultural Human Resources Council (CHRC) is a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to strengthening Canada's cultural workforce. You may be familiar with their Young Canada Works and Talent to Lead programs, or their Respectful Workplaces in the Arts campaign. Their new SWPP is specifically focused on helping arts and culture organizations bring students on board with a wage subsidy.
Learn more about how your organization can take advantage of this wage subsidy program at this free info session on Tuesday, November 23rd at 1:00pm (PT).
Brought to you by the Talent MATCH Program, a collaboration between the BC Alliance for Arts + Culture, the BC Museums Association, go2HR, and the Association for Co-operative Education & Work Integrated Learning BC/Yukon, this Info Session will feature Sofia Downing and Frédérique Coulaud, Administrative and Communications Officers from CHRC, who will explain how the program works and how to apply.
This info session is free, but you must register for it here.
