Shambhala Music Festival is now hiring staff for our Bathroom re-stocking team during the festival this summer! Positions work various schedules between July 18-26 on the festival site outside of Salmo, BC.

• As Bathroom staff, you’ll receive 3 free meals per shift from our Crew Kitchen
• You’ll also have access to an exclusive shady/quiet Crew Camping zone!
• Other perks include free showers and free early entry to the festival, get in early and see the event come to life from behind the scenes!

Responsibilities Include:

• Pressure wash and restock bathrooms after each pumping
• Follow SMF sanitation and dumping procedures
• Complete Pump Runs to all single and VIP toilets, maintaining sanitary toilets
• To ensure all toilets are pumped and cleaned in a timely manner
• Complete re-stock runs throughout each shift to ensure all stock is maintained
• To liaise with appropriate teams to remove all garbage and recycling
• Handle radio communications (will receive training on Site)
• Sign in at Rally Point with your Supervisor
• Attend tailgate meeting (get specific duties for the day, confirm meal time(s) and location)
• Attend toolbox meeting and sign off that you understand safety procedures
• Perform requested tasks, including preventative inspection of potential problem areas
• Sign out at Rally Point with your supervisor at end of shift

Qualifications Include:

• Experience doing bathroom cleaning work is preferred
• Experience working at festivals or other major events is preferred
• In good health and able to do physical work outdoors
• Clean driving abstract
• Valid Driver’s License
• Previous Festival / Event experience an asset
