The Rosedale on Robson Suite Hotel Bell Services Department is looking for a reliable team member to join the Rosedale on Robson Team.

The position has varied shifts including, mornings, afternoons, and evenings on a daily basis.

Reporting directly to the Bell Services Supervisor, your duties will include the following:

• Greet and open doors for guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Assist guests with their luggage to and from their suites
• Provide guests with information about attractions and events around the city
• Provide guests with information about the hotel facilities and amenities
• Provide luggage storage for registered guests while keeping proper claim records
• Provide valet parking for registered guests when requested
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times
• Report any incidents of guest dissatisfaction or unusual matters of significance to the appropriate manager
• Comply with Rosedale on Robson policies and procedures to ensure guest and staff safety and security
• Help identify unwanted person(s) and take appropriate action to remove them from the hotel property

• Must have a good understanding and command of the English language
• Ability to communicate effectively with others both verbally and written
• Must have thorough knowledge of Vancouver and local attractions
• A second language such as German would be an asset
• Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods at a time
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must have a valid drivers licence
• A diploma or degree in the hospitality field would be an asset
• Previous customer relations experience would be an asset
• Must be able to legally work in Canada and have the appropriate documentation

• Salary/Wage: Commensurate with experience + grats
