Position Overview:

The Box Office Supervisor will work closely with the General Manager and Operations Coordinator in order to provide fluid and easy ticketing experience for our patrons and volunteers. This position will start May 29th and continue through the summer until the end of August.

Responsibilities:

·       Providing excellent customer service to theatre patrons with ticketing inquiries on the telephone and via email

·       Supervising and managing on-site Box Office Volunteer team

·       Ensuring positive experience for volunteers working in the box office

·       Encouraging team spirit

·       Booking group ticket sales, following up on phone call and e-mail inquiries from customers

·       Processing company tickets

·       Booking group sales and VIP Experience nights

·       Resolving patron ticketing complaints and concerns and following TUTS policy guidelines

·       Liaising with Etix

·       Coordinate with Marketing Team on ticketing needs for cross promotions and special events.

 Minimum Qualifications:

·   Previous Box Office, Front of House, customer service and/or hospitality experience

·   Strong leadership, motivational and delegation skills

·   Excellent customer service skills, friendly attitude

·   Experience working with volunteers and dynamic personalities an asset

·   Able to thrive in a fast paced, team environment

·   Outstanding organizational and written & verbal communication skills

·   Ability to work under pressure and in flexible hours, including evenings

·   Solid computer skills including Microsoft Office & Excel, PC & MAC operating systems
