We are looking for the perfect couple to be a part of our resort team who want to be immersed in the resort experience for this upcoming season as a camp host. While on the resort you can enjoy living on the lake surrounded by nature while helping at the campground and bakery. You’ll get to live onsite from May to September in a full hookup site!
Woodlands Fishin’ Resort is the ultimate outdoors enthusiasts’ haven with endless fishing, hiking, four-wheeling and nature viewing which makes it your ideal destination for connecting with nature, making memories and REELaxing. Located in the beautiful Chilanko Forks which is an unincorporated settlement as well as a First Nations community of the Tsilhqot’in people, located on the north bank of the Chilanko River just northeast of Tatla Lake, and immediately south of Puntzi Lake, in the Chilcotin District of the Central Interior of British Columbia.
Woodlands Fishin’ Resort offers a 12-site campground as well as 3 all-new cabin units all situated a stone’s throw from the lake. Our recently rebuilt cabins offer a rustic feel but with all the modern amenities, including Wi-Fi, a bakery and washrooms. No fishin’ resort would be complete without a private boat launch and docks. We also offer motorboat, canoe, and kayak rentals.
This position is seasonal and begins May to Fall (September/October).

Job Highlights:
Looking for someone that can work the campground store and check guests in and out
Complete new bookings
Selling items, taking orders over the phone
Clean bathrooms and cabins
Other tasks as assigned
These jobs can be split between a couple
Valid BC Driver’s license
Reliable Vehicle
Pleasure Craft Operator Card or be willing to take the course
Most days times a flexible, depending on how many clients
First Aid is an asset but not required
Knowledge and experience in operating small powered equipment (e.g. lawnmower, tractor, weedwhacker, boat motors).
Be able to drive a small tractor
Put in docks and pull out docks
General Maintenance, Minor repairs of cabins, docks, campground repairs, bakery
Cleaning campground and picnic tables
Help clients with parking RVs, boat launches
Wood delivered to campsites
Campground garbage was picked up and taken to dump
Cleaning of cabins, shower house and fish cleaning station as needed
Supply pick-up and food delivery
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada for this position
Possess the physical condition and health to carry out the required duties of this position
Maintain good interpersonal skills
Have good verbal and written communication skills and a problem-solver at heart
Be a self-starter and able to work alone or in a team environment with minimum supervision
Can-do attitudes and a willingness to jump in when needed
