Kumsheen is looking for Campground Attendants for the 2022 Season to join our team of energetic, adventurous, and friendly staff. This is a great opportunity to work & live in one of the most beautiful areas in BC, at an incredible family-run adventure resort. 

About the position:

In addition to keeping the campground orderly and clean for guests and staff, campground staff are also an ambassador for Kumsheen as a whole. Guest experiences are strongly influenced by the service they receive from our exceptional staff, and campground staff are often the first staff-member our guests meet. Campground positions require friendly and outgoing self-motivators who like working outside and meeting new people.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintenance of the pool and hot-tub
• General cleaning of washrooms and other common areas
• Garbage and recycling removal
• Basic landscaping duties including raking, gardening, and mowing grass
• Assisting with other maintenance jobs around the resort
• Assisting Resort guests with basic questions and requests
• Occasional night security shifts, including enforcing quiet hours in the campground

Campground Attendants work under the direction of the Campground Manager and General Managers. These team members will regularly check in with the Reservations & Customer Service Representatives for information regarding guest requirements at the Resort.

The successful applicant will possess the following attributes:

• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Team oriented but capable of working independently 
• Organized, with the ability to prioritize and carry out many tasks simultaneously
• Punctual and reliable
• Maintenance or security experience is an asset
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including night shifts
