We are a small family owned, helicopter access only backcountry ski and hiking lodge located in the northern Selkirk Mountains of British Columbia. The chef, along with a kitchen helper, is responsible for preparing breakfast, bagged lunches, afternoon tea/snack and dinner for up to 18 guests and 7 staff. We focus on sustainable, organic and local ingredients. It is a small kitchen with an amazing view and a great work atmosphere. The job is ideal for a young chef, with a sense of adventure, who is looking to hone their creativity in the kitchen and work in a spectacular wilderness/mountain setting. Room and board provided while on shift (2 or 3 weeks on and then a week off).
This job requires experience and a passion for cooking. Red Seal chefs preferred although the right experience can also make for a very successful candidate.
