Cordo Resto + Bar located at the beautiful Delta Hotels by Marriott Kamloops is looking for outlet servers who are quick moving, passionate, positive and excel at making guests feel welcome and comfortable.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Embodies a forward-moving, highly collaborative, fully accountable and inspired vertical mindset; Actively promotes a vertical mindset in the work place 
• Maintains an engaging personality that will ensure our guests have a memorable experience 
• Anticipates any requests before they are made, including coffee, water, drink refills, as well as taking any required condiments to the table prior to taking their food out
• Conducts a quality check after food has been tasted to ensure guest satisfaction 
• Cleans and reset tables to Delta standards
• Performs all required opening and closing duties
• Pours and serve wine, beer and limited cocktails in all outlet areas 
• Understands and works in accordance with health and safety mandates
• Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have Serving it Right and Food Safe certification
• 2-3 years serving experience required. Upscale dining experience preferred. 
• Excellent command of the English language – written and verbal. 
• Upbeat and outgoing personality with a high level of self-confidence
• Portray a professional image
• Strong interpersonal and guest service skills 
• Possess a positive attitude and works well with other team members 
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Extensive cash handling experience
• Point of sale experience
• Experience in sales or an equivalent position is a must   
• Strong beverage and food based knowledge
• Required availability: Thursday to Sunday
