Kumsheen is looking for Guest Experience Team member (Office Staff) to join our team of energetic, adventurous, and friendly staff. This is a great opportunity to work & live in one of the most beautiful areas in BC, at an incredible family-run adventure resort.

About the position:

Kumsheen Office Staff are the main point of contact for our guests, so a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service and a pleasant atmosphere is essential. These team members work at the heart of all resort operations, ensuring clear communication to every department. They are the “information centre” for staff and guests alike. 

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist customers with planning, booking, and managing reservations by phone, email, and in-person
• Greet and direct guests for activities & accommodations
• Generate rosters and reports for activities & resort operations
• Providing accurate and thorough information to guests, visitors, and other staff members
• Maintain all areas of the Reception Office (Front Desk, Retail Store, Coffee Shop)
• Complete daily cash reconciliation 

This social and dynamic department is perfect for those who love organization and attention to detail, enjoy meeting new people, and sharing the passion of the outdoor industry with others. Customer Service & Front Desk Representatives work under the direction of the Office Manager and the General Manager/AGM.

Successful applicants will possess the following attributes:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure
• Computer literacy, comfortable with Mac OS and Google Drive
• Second language is an asset
• Previous office procedure and telephone sales knowledge is an asset
• Previous retail store and/or barista experience is an asset
• Most importantly, a positive attitude!
