Job Description:

Bell 2 Lodge/Last Frontier Heliskiing is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to fill a 6 month position with a potential for full-time, year-round position on our Maintenance Team. Bell 2 Lodge operates as Last Frontier Heli-Skiing during the winter season and as a hotel during the spring, summer and fall months.

Working as a Maintenance Laborer in a remote location offers the opportunity to learn a vast number of new skills. The right candidate will be expected to dive in and help tackle any task that needs completing. Responsibilities and Duties – required by not limited to

  • Perform labor support as needed
  • Perform set-up and cleanup tasks
  • Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs
  • Operate heavy machinery
  • Waste management

Accommodation and meals are provided for all employees. Shifts are three weeks on and one week off working ten hour days. Transfers to and from Terrace or Smithers on weeks out are available. Given our remote location all communications are via-satellite phone and 3 hours of basic internet is provided. With its proximity to the mountains, lakes and rivers, Bell 2 Lodge is an exciting place for outdoor enthusiasts throughout the entire year. Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Skills – not all are required but recommended if you have a willingness to learn

  • Team oriented and interested in expanding skill set
  • Experience in one or more trades
  • Experience operating basic power tools and heavy equipment
  • Experience in landscaping and snow removal
  • Data collection skills
  • Energetic and able to work in a team setting and individually
  • First aid certificate
  • Flexibility and positive attitude
  • Salary/Wage: From $180.00 per day
