Detailed Job Description
Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing is seeking motivated team players to join our summer team of housekeeping and janitorial staff. Room Attendant positions involve housemen duties, laundry, cleaning common areas, and cleaning guest rooms including replacing linen and towels, vacuuming and dusting, replacing guest supplies, cleaning bathrooms, deep cleaning projects, and notifying management of any repairs required. We also have Houseperson and Janitorial positions available.

Employment Period
May or June to September 2022 (Option to transition into the Winter 2022-2023 season)

Wage

Starting at $20.00 per hour depending on experience

Contract length: 5-6 months

Job Types: Full-time (32-40 hours), Temporary, Seasonal

Work Schedule: 5 days on 2 days off, or potential for 4 day work week, 3 days off under an averaging agreement

Salary: From $20.00 per hour

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • Experience is considered an asset
  • Must be able to frequently bend and kneel, lift a moderate weight, and work on feet for an extended period of time
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Must be able to speak English
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to work a variety of day and weekend shifts
  • Ability to work efficiently with precision
  • Flexibility to work evening and/or early morning shifts
  • Valid drivers’ license an asset
  • Eligibility to Work in Canada

    MWHS is situated right in the town of Blue River, which is located on the Yellowhead Highway 5, halfway between Kamloops, BC and Jasper, AB. The town and resort are a mecca for outdoor enthusiasts.
