Locally owned and operated since 1976, Chateau Victoria Hotel & Suites is located in the heart of the downtown core.  We are looking for energetic and detail orientated individuals to join the housekeeping team in anticipation of the busy season that’s fast approaching!

This position is well suited to those who enjoy a fast-paced environment, who get satisfaction from completing routine tasks and who take pride in helping set the stage, ensuring our future guests or in-house guests have a memorable experience.

Being a Room attendant at Chateau Victoria is also being an ambassador for the hotel and for Victoria. Customer service is a component in all of our positions here at the hotel.

Daily rooms assignment are generally independently assigned and performed, with the exception of our penthouses where you work with one other.

There are opportunities to cross-train and learn other housekeeping positions too if interested.

• Must be able to work a variety of shifts including, days, weekends and holidays.
• Proven organization, communication, and multi-tasking skills required.
• Previous experience preferred.

• Ability to work independently and respond well to direction.

This Position has physical requirements:

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced ability for up to 8 hours in length. Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs. and push and pull carts and equipment on a regular and continuing basis. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill projects that need to be completed for daily operations.

• Salary/Wage: up to $21.25 per hour plus tips and other great benefits!
