OVERVIEW

Join our team as a Junior Maintenance Technician, where you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills in both Maintenance and Hospitality. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Respond to guests’ questions, complaints, and/or requests ensuring efficient and personalized guest service.
• Daily guestroom, meeting space and back of house related maintenance.
• Project work such as painting, carpet cleaning and equipment maintenance/replacement.
• Complete preventative maintenance, as per the preventative maintenance schedule.
• Furniture restoration and repair.
• Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment.
• Record maintenance activities in the property management system.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality of our owners, guests and employees.

REQUIREMENTS

• A passion for Maintenance and/or Hospitality.
• Prior experience in Maintenance, Housekeeping, and/or Hospitality an asset but not required, full training will be given.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to evaluate and solve problems.
• Able to multi-task & meet deadlines.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance and heavier lifting or movement tasks with assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Able to work alone and as part of a team.
• Ability to work flexible schedule.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word.
