Job Description:

Join our team of landscapers and gardeners who are responsible for landscape maintenance and design work on beautiful properties, homes and parks. We have recently joined our park contract business with a landscaping company to better offer year-round work for our staff. Great opportunities are available for experienced workers to expand and contribute their knowledge along with inexperienced workers who wish to learn. The setting is outdoors and hands on work for those who love to stay busy and be physically active. Beautiful views, great clients and fun team members make for an enjoyable day at work! 

Full time year-round employees have an option to join our extended health plan which includes dental and job reviews with performance bonuses are a couple of benefits to joining our team! Opportunity for growth in the company is available.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

Our employees require a valid Class 5 Drivers license to operate the company vehicles. Experience operating various power equipment and landscaping vehicles and tools is an important asset. If you have the desire to learn and some basic knowledge we would very much like to see your application. Bring your enthusiasm and willingness to learn if you feel a connection to this opportunity!

- ability to perform physical tasks such as digging, mowing lawns, planting and leaf blowing

Recommended Training:

  • Salary/Wage: $18 to $24 per hour depending on experience

    RLC Enterprize Ltd (now operating as RLC Park Services) is a company with its roots reaching back to the early 80s when a teenager by the name of Rick Carswell took part in work experience at what is now BC Parks, South Vancouver Island District Office. It was such a positive experience for Rick he continued to work for BC Parks in various capacities until 1989 when the privatization of Park Operations revealed an opportunity to bid on the contract for, and take over the operations of, Macdonald Provincial Park. This contract saw the birth of the company, RLC Park Services. From these small beginnings it has grown into a company with over 100 employees responsible for operating approximately 26 parks on Vancouver Island.
