Job Description:

We are looking for some awesome kitchen staff to help launch our farm-based gastro brewpub this summer. Working with our Executive Chef, the kitchen team will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen is a fun and team-oriented place to work, and that the dining experience for guests is something to be proud of.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Community-mindedness
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings and stat holidays when necessary
  • 2+ years of kitchen experience
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent
Recommended Training:

  • Salary/Wage: $18 - $21

    Rusted Rake Brewing is a new family-run, farm-based brewery in the beautiful coastal town of Nanoose Bay, Vancouver Island. Our brewery and soon to open gastro brewpub are located on an 18-acre farm just 15 minutes from Nanaimo and only a short ferry ride away from Vancouver.

    We acknowledge that in Nanoose Bay we work and reside on the ancestral unceded shared territory of the Snaw-naw-as First Nation, who, along with 18 other tribes in the Salish Sea, are Coast Salish people who have lived here since time immemorial.
