Mayfair Lakes Golf & Country Club is currently recruiting for part-time Line Cooks to join our kitchen team!

With the towering beauty of the North Shore Mountains serving as the backdrop, Mayfair Lakes in Richmond is a genuine golf sanctuary, offering a secluded country ambiance that’s just minutes from Vancouver. You will be expected to continually strive to exceed our customers’ expectations by preparing and presenting food in a timely, efficient, and hygienic manner. Being a team player is essential, as you will be required to complete supervisory tasks in the absence of the Chef/Sous Chef and this will involve aspects of managing the team, of which you will lead by example. 

Within this role, you will also be expected to prepare any food for the following day, where applicable ensure compliance across the kitchen in regard to Food Safety which includes but is not limited to training, temperature monitoring, cleaning schedules, and weekly internal auditing. You will also provide support and assistance with the ordering and inventory of food. 

The ideal candidate will have a positive work ethic and the drive to succeed!

Requirements:

• 2 yrs of professional kitchen experience
• Ability to make decisions quickly, but without compromise to the business and keeping communication across the front and back of house seamless and continuous
• Food Safe Certification is essential
• Post high school education, previous inventory control, and supervisory skills is an asset

• Salary/Wage: $18.50/hr + tips
