We are currently searching for an Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our salary team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this position provides administrative support and project management for the Marketing & Communication deparmtent, working directly with both internal and external customers.

Provide high attention to detail in all communications, assist in producing reports, proposals and presentations, ensuring the value of luxury is communicated through all written and verbal interactions.
Assist in the development, coordination and execution of hotel communications activities. Key areas include: Drafting press releases and guest letters, handling media inquiries, updating and maintaining the hotel’s website, compiling PR reports, liaising with agency on advertising campaigns, creative and media plans, and assisting with social media content.
Coordinate the hotel’s social media engagement in the approved social media platforms in accordance with policy and procedure
Coordinate correspondence, reservations and resumes related to media and influencer visits
Input data to internal databases, ensuring the system is kept up-to-date, accurate and current at all times
Maintain records on behalf of the Marketing department, ensuring that a filing system is established and that documents are readily available when needed
Create and produce collateral and digital content under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications
Coordinate the production and quality of all posters, displays and temporary signage in hotel areas
Maintain and manage hotel marketing and media database of press clippings, social monitoring and archive maintenance
Assists in preparing for local photo and video shoots, providing support and administration, as required
Development of public relations materials including one-sheets, press releases, pitches etc.
Coordinate partnership events, organizing floor plans, décor, logistics, etc.
Compiles and distributes relevant reports to appropriate departments as required, and ensures follow-through with all revisions, cancellations, special requests for group bookings and individual reservations
Prepare and submit offers and promotions to destination partners
Support hotel departmental needs in creating content, as required
Respond to general telephone and email inquiries on behalf of the marketing team
Ensure compliance to all hotel policies, standards, and procedures
Maintain positive communication with all departments and stay informed of hotel VIP’s, activities, promotions and events
Undertake other ad hoc related responsibilities, as required
Oral and written fluency in English
Knowledge of: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, iMovies or Final Cut Pro is an asset.
Previous experience in digital media and design is required for this role
Successful completion of a post secondary marketing program is preferred
Must hold the legal right to work in Canada (Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident) or active possession of an Open Work Permit.
