The Savoy Hotel is now hiring a Marketing Coordinator! The Marketing Coordinator’s primary role is to perform a variety of tasks that include the coordination and implementation of social media & marketing projects.
Key Responsibilities:
•Content creation such as photo and video for social media channels
•Perform administration marketing duties such as responding to comments and messages
•Grow social media followers and maximize post reach
•Support the SEO strategy with regular blog posts and content editing/creation
•Track the success of marketing campaigns by collecting/analyzing/summarizing sales data, marketing campaigns, and online activities
Qualifications Include:
•A minimum of 1 year of experience in a comparable role
•Excellent command of written English with copy accuracy
•Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines
•Having an understanding of basic photography and videography (could be simply on a phone)
•Social Media experience across Facebook and Instagram
•A bachelor’s degree or further education in the area of specialty an asset

Comprised of The Falls Music Lounge (Nelson's first brewpub/restaurant), the Farm Fresh cafe, and Bloom Nightclub; the Savoy is owned and operated by the people that bring you Shambhala Music Festival, and features state-of-the-art PK Sound installation. The hotel rooms are being renovated and will open for the winter season 2017/18.
