Join our Guest Services team! The Hotel Grand Pacific has a position available for a Night Auditor. An independent luxury property located on Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, we offer a personalized service focused on guest satisfaction. Bring your customer-focused attitude and excellent attention to detail to our team where everyone is welcome.

Hours: 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Description of Duties:

·         Assist with overnight Hotel Safety, Security and Emergency Response

·         Run the audit and cross check daily revenue posted to ensure all is in order

·         Operate switchboard, taking or transferring calls as required and taking massages

·         Take hotel reservations

·         Register or check out guests according to the hotels procedures and policies

·         Record lost and found articles

·         Communicate guests concerns and problems to facilitate immediate resolution and minimize guest inconveniences

·         Maintain an organized and efficient front desk

·         Update Night Audit and Guest Services logbook daily

·         Advise Night Manager or MOD of any problems or concerns

·         Previous audit experience

·         1-2 years of hotel experience

·         Experience with Opera PMS

·         Valid Class 5 driver’s license

·         Possess or able to obtain a Food Safe & Serving It Right certificate

·         Pleasant manner and professional verbal and written communication skills

·         High proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook

·         Available to work more than 30 hours per week
