We are currently looking for a House person to join our team! This position will ensure the hotel is safe, secure, clean and organized throughout the night and early morning. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Perform regular walks of the guestroom floors and other areas to ensure all are clean, safe, and secure 

• Enforce the rules of the hotel to ensure the safety and security of hotel guests, visitors to the property, employees and hotel property 

• Perform duties to close the pool and fitness centre 

• Perform additional maintenance, cleaning or service tasks assigned by Supervisors, Department Managers, or General Manager 

• Work with the front desk department to run amenities to guest rooms as needed 

• Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications and Attributes  

• Proficient in both verbal and written English communication 

• Basic reading, writing, math skills and the capacity to work on a computer 

• Completion of high school diploma or related vocational training preferred 

• A Certified Pool (CPO) license is an asset but not required 

• Ability to lift, pull, or push items weighing up to 75 pounds/45kilograms 

• Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical, preventative maintenance procedures, and reasonable understanding of building equipment hand tools  

• Must be able to work afternoons and evenings

• Salary/Wage: $20.50 - $20.75
