POSITION SUMMARY:

The full time Office Manager plays an important role in the operations of Toptable Group’s Whistler restaurants (Araxi, Il Caminetto, and Bar Oso) by providing a high level of confidential administrative, financial, and operational support to the restaurant teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• ·         Act as key liaison between the Whistler management team and head office team
•  
• ·         Support the operations team in the opening of new restaurants, including coordination of staff recruitment and onboarding and offboarding of employees
•  
• ·         Update head office of any personnel changes in a timely manner
•  
• ·         Process daily sales reconciliations and cash handling
•  
• ·         Collect all paperwork, including payables invoice for processing and submission to head office
•  
• ·         Review invoices entered into inventory systems by front and back of house teams to ensure adequate approvals
•  
• ·         Manage employee housing and support house captains in all housing related requirements for staff move ins / outs, cleaning, and any recommended repairs and maintenance
•  
• ·         Support operational team in recruitment initiatives in conjunction with the Toptable HR team
•  
• ·         Maintain office organization
•  
• ·         Special projects as required to support the operations team and opening new restaurants

• ·         1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a similar office management role
•  
• ·         Experience with financial systems, particularly for accounts payable processing
•  
• ·         Strong computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office suite
•  
• ·         Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
•  
• ·         Proactive, self-starting attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
•  
• ·         Previous restaurant or hospitality industry experience is an asset
