The cook is responsible for the day-to-day food preparation and cooking in the resort Restaurants. You would uphold performance standards, policies and procedures such as cooking methods and quality standards while ensuring compliance with food and kitchen-related safety and health regulations. Ensure the cooking of quality food in a clean organized manner and assumes responsibility for quality of products served.

• Ability to cook meats, fish, vegetables, soups and other hot food products accurately and efficiently
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrates the ability to maintain a clean work area
• Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively and keep others informed
• Demonstrates a high level of Guest Focus by striving for high guest satisfaction 
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other computer applications

Qualifications

• Previous Hotel / Resort experience an asset
• Must have a food safe certificate
• You will be required to obtain a Serving it Right certificate
• Must be available weekends and evenings.

• Salary/Wage: $16-18 /Hour
