Elements Casino Victoria is currently on the lookout for a Relief Count Team Supervisor to join our Cage team. This position is responsible for the accurate counting of cash assets in the Count Room and the       movement of cash from the gaming floor to the Cage. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Protecting the bankroll, security and integrity of the Company and its operations
• Maintaining a high level of knowledge of Cage Operations
• Reporting and documenting all exceptions and discrepancies to the Cage Shift Managers
• Monitoring and reporting the conditions/status of cage facilities and equipment to Cage Shift Managers
• Assisting Count Team members’ performance and reporting the status to the Cage Management Team
• Maintaining and executing regular preventative maintenance schedule on all cash handling/counting equipment
• Supervising and conducting all table drop box and slot machine hard and soft drop counts
• Maintaining confidentially of privileged personnel, banking, administration and game accounting information
• Coordinating and/or assisting any Cage activities as determined by Cage Shift Manager
• Performing other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume cash handling
• Minimum 6 months supervisory experience
• High school diploma required, post secondary education an asset
• Strong communication and mathematical skills
• Possess a quick reaction time to respond, resolve or escalate cage issues when needed
• Knowledge and ability to monitor and report all discrepancies and suspicious cash/activities
• Manual dexterity and ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Professional attitude and appearance, strong interpersonal skills, and a team player
• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain a criminal record and credit check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB)
