At the Squamish Adventure Inn we aspire to be the top West Coast destination for outdoor enthusiasts. Centrally located on the waterfront and nestled between the Coastal mountains, we have some of the best climbing, kiting, biking, kayaking, skiing, hiking and mountaineering around. No other North American destination offers this caliber of outdoor adventure in one location!

This position is Seasonal Full Time (30 – 35 hours per week) and starting date would be negotiable, May/June 2022. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitate the rental and return of rental equipment (bikes, kayaks, SUPs) including inspecting it for damage

• Assist with folding and processing clean laundry (Lots of it!)

• Provide local information on tours, adventures, activities, and Squamishetc.

• Assist guests in person and on the phone.

• Help generate reviews and promote direct bookings

• Assist with the processing of reviews and emails

• Assist with social media accounts (instagram and facebook)

• Booking.com credit card validation

• Check in guests, take payments and provide tours of the hostel

• Help maintain the cleanliness of the hostel

• Hosting hostel activities 

• Help to make every guest’s experience amazing!

• Comfortable working on your own, but a true team player

Required Criteria:

• Must speak fluent English (Extra languages are a plus!)

• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

• Must be willing to submit to a Criminal Background Check

• Basic computer skills as you will be using different in house software programs

• Valid Driver’s license is a plus

• Salary/Wage: $17
