Join the Front Office Team at Sparkling Hill Resort! We currently have both full-time and part-time positions available as a Reservations Agent. This role is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills, with the ability to multitask and answer a variety of questions about the resort.

Staff accommodation is available in double rooms for full time Sparkling Hill employees, working 40 hours per week.

Duties Include:

• Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the hotel in order to accurately answer guest inquiries
• Answer internal and external emails, phone calls and direct callers to the appropriate department
• Book and modify room reservations
• Be knowledgeable about rates and packages in order to quote guests the appropriate rate
• Arrange transportation, wine tours and other services for guests as required
• Assist the Front Desk Agents with duties such as check ins and check outs when required
• Receive and respond to guest concerns in a courteous manner and direct them to the appropriate manager when necessary
• Ship packages via appropriate courier for guests or on behalf of the resort
• Prepare reports
• Anticipate guest needs in order to provide seamless and exceptional service
• Communicate with other departments such as Restaurant and Housekeeping in regards to guest requests or needs
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous Reservations, Front Desk, or other hospitality experience preferred
• Previous experience with Maestro Property Management system an asset
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team as well as independently
• Able to focus on guest needs, remain calm and professional at all times
• Ability to efficiently multi-task in a high pressure working environment
• Able to work flexible hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Some overtime may be required
