Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing is a full-service wilderness lodge. We are currently hiring for the Summer 2022 season, and are looking for individuals with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and an enthusiasm for outdoor recreation.

As the Restaurant Supervisor at Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing, you will assist in the day to day organization and running of the restaurant & lounge, and be the main point of contact for our kitchen. The is a hands-on role and superior communication and time management skills are a must. The Restaurant Supervisor will assist with staff coaching for employees in the department as per Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing standards, ensure the team is delivering exceptional service, and that the overall daily service is running smoothly, adhering to company standards. The Restaurant Supervisor reports directly to the Food & Beverage Manager, working closely together to ensure a high quality of service is provided. The responsibilities and qualifications of the Lead Server include but are not limited to the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure excellent communication with all operating departments to ensure awareness of guest numbers & requests
• Ensure quality of service by going above and beyond guest expectations
• Operate according to the policies, procedures, quality standards, and services established by the company
• Follow the regulations set forth by the B.C. Liquor Control and Licensing Branch
• Provide in-depth knowledge of company products and services
• Responsible for maintaining a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean and professional image with the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in a fast paced, high intensity environment
• Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning duties are fulfilled as per requirements and training received
• Supervise and coach staff to promote consistent, professional service that will exceed our guest expectations as per Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing standards
• Supervise and assist with set-up, service, and tear down of wedding functions

• Salary/Wage: $19/hr + tips
