Hourly Wage: $22.70

Benefit: Workers qualify for disability insurance, dental insurance, and extended medical insurance after completing v840 hours. Company Profile:

Located in Victoria’s beautiful inner harbour, the Hotel Grand Pacific is looking for more Room Attendants to support its growing operations. As a member of the housekeeping team, you will play an integral role in helping our hotel provide a superior level of service to our guests.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• Clean guestrooms––Sweep, mop, dust, and polish floors
• Make beds, change sheets, clean bathrooms and inside windows
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Replenish rooms with supplies––distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies
• Proper usage of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Remove soiled linen from rooms, retrievel  clean linen from linen closets
• Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Address customers' complaints or concerns
• Provide basic information on facilities, and report necessary maintenance items
• Follow departmental policies and procedures

Employment Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in hotel environment is an asset
• Must physically be able to: lift up to 50lbs, carry objects weighing up to 75lbs (including pushing equipment), stoop, kneel, reach, stand, walk, bend, twist, push
