Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing is a full-service wilderness lodge. We are currently hiring for the Summer 2022 season, and are looking for individuals with a passion for providing exceptional guest experiences and an enthusiasm for outdoor recreation.

As a Server/Bartender/Barista at Tyex Lodge & Heliskiing, you will be an ambassador for the company. You will provide warm, personalized service and have an extensive knowledge of our food/beverage program as well as activity offerings. As a server you are responsible for the guest’s well-being in our restaurant, lounge, and patio. Your responsibilities and qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate according to the policies, procedures, and quality standards established by the company
• Provide in-depth knowledge of company's products and services
• Follow the regulations set forth by the B.C. Liquor Control and Licensing Branch
• Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
• Taking orders including go-to items, delivering food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Clearing tables and re-setting for future guests
• Assisting guests with questions about the menu in an informative and helpful way
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service
• Check on guest satisfaction
• Handle complaints and concerns of guests
• Provide food and beverage product knowledge
• Use proper serving techniques
• Make alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including cocktails, wine, and beer
• Practice responsible alcohol service
• Cash out and reconcile cash with total sales
• Responsible for setting up the restaurant for service including buffet, tables, and event set-up
• Responsible for maintaining a cheerful, courteous disposition and a neat, clean, and professional image with the ability to maintain a calm demeanour in a fast paced, high intensity environment
