Coastal rides is a ride-hailing service. Customers request rides through our smartphone app. As a driver, you sign on when you want and take people where they need to go. We are now hiring in anticipation of a busy summer on the Sunshine Coast and on Vancouver Island. If you are a safety conscious driver who loves helping people, this is a great role for you.

We are looking to add drivers for owner operator commission (similar to Uber)on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. In Comox and in Sechelt, we are also looking for hourly employees to drive our vehicles. 

During downtime, drivers will be responsible for keeping vehicles clean and tidy, fueling, or charging, and promoting our service at key locations such as Langdale Terminal.  In additional to driving duties and if you’re interested, you will have the opportunity to get involved with marketing, promotions, and building the digital technology that makes Coastal Rides work.

We are exploring the possibility of offering employee accommodation on the Sunshine Coast, please indicate if this is of interest to you.

Required:

• Class 4 BC Driver's License. (Class 1 and 2 drivers also qualify).
• You must have a minimum of 3 years driving history in BC, with 3 or less offences in the last 2 years and no convictions in the last 3 years.
• Clean Criminal Record

• Salary/Wage: $18/ hr plus commission and tips
