We are currently seeking a Dishwasher to join our team. The dishwasher is responsible for cleaning dishes in a food service environment to ensure that the kitchen has a steady supply of clean plates, bowls, silverware, pot, pans and glasses.  You are hardworking and can quickly rearrange your workflow to immediately get your fellow team members the right type of dishes they need.

The dishwasher is responsible for washing and organizing china, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots and pans per standards.  Other responsibilities include emptying garbage cans,

The dishwasher is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all items in their area.

• Clearing bus stations and bring them into the kitchen to clean
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, pots and pans
• Responsible for the proper sanitation and cleanliness of all dishwashing areas
• Removal of trash and mopping
• Transport and store clean service ware
• Prepare and place clean service ware for events and functions
• Ensuring the dish washing area and staff room is clean and organized
• Assist the culinary team when required, this may include preparation of food items
• This position is 2 days and 3 nights

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Relevant experience in a similar industry, preferred
• Ability to lift heavy equipment/items - up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work in varying temperature environments ranging from -18 degrees Celsius to 40 degree Celsius
• Must be able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours in length
• You may be exposed to elevated noise levels
• Ability to work with chemicals
• Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Food Safe an asset
• Must be able to work varying shifts
• Must follow all policies and procedures and Brand Standards
