VP of Operations- Canada
Argen Canada is a growing company in the digital manufacturing and technology space for the dental industry. This expansion has created the need for a leader capable of facilitating the continued growth in our operations as well as complementing our Canadian executive team in the drive to meet strategic, financial and cultural objectives. Reporting to the Executive VP of International of the USA parent company with an indirect reporting line to the global COO, this position will be a focus on business enhancements in processes, systems, costs, productivity and quality.
About the Role
Based in our head office in beautiful Kelowna, BC, the VP Operations will be accountable for our operations across Canada including finance, product development, IT, HR, administration and our digital production and operations centers. A typical day can include meeting with direct reports, negotiating contracts with suppliers, evaluating market opportunities, meeting about a lease, or presenting to the global executive team, reviewing financials or developing a policy, procedure or strategic plan.
This is a diverse job with many hats and requires a strategic leader with a knack for seeing the details in the big picture. You must thrive on variety, be a problem solver who will jump in when needed and also teach others to “fish” to ensure the team is growing to meet the business demands.

Seeking in a Candidate
To excel in this role, we are seeking someone with 15+ years of experience, at least 10 of which are in progressive leadership roles. Private family enterprise and/or high growth for profit experiences are valued along with a degree in business, engineering or related discipline. You must be a change and project manager, a strategic and critical thinker, a persuasive negotiator, an organizer and most importantly a trusted, ethical leader of people.
