 Duties and Responsibilities:

•        Maintain inventory of wood/kindling at the Lodge including unloading  wood on delivery, chopping it and stacking it

•        Deliver wood/kindling to guest rooms, and assist guests to operate fireplaces

•       Maintain cleanliness of fireplaces in guest rooms and Lodge

•       Maintain woodshed to CRMR standards for cleanliness and organization

•        Maintain and clean all wood bins around Property, ensuring quality

•       Check golf carts daily for fuel and cleanliness

•          Receive, sort, and stock linen deliveries

•        May be required to assist Housekeeping by delivering linen bags in the morning and picking them up at the end of the day,

•      Bringing stock to the housekeepers when necessary

•      Organize trash and dirty linen at the end of the day

•      Work in a clean and neat manner in guestrooms and all other areas

•      Carry out all tasks in a timely fashion

•      Be respectful of general comfort, well-being, and safety of guests

•      Arrive on time and groomed appropriately, observing dress code including appropriate footwear, as per CRMR Employee Handbook

•        Perform other duties in other departments , such as snow removal,  as assigned

Requirements/Experience:        

• Must have a drivers license and clean driving record 

•        Must have previous experience chopping wood by hand

•        Previous experience in Housekeeping/Laundry an asset

•        Efficient time-management skills required to complete assigned tasks for the day

•        Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to Front Desk and Housekeeping, using radio

•        Must be flexible, adaptable, and prepared to embrace challenges

•        Will be required to work outside in all seasons, including winter

•        Physical demands include standing, bending, sitting, chopping wood, lifting up to 30 pounds

• Salary/Wage: $17.00
