WorkSafeBC Video: London Drugs

This four-minute, 54-second video sample shows health and safety professionals, along with production managers, supervisors, and staff from London Drugs, sharing their experiences in orientation, training and supervision of young workers. You’ll meet the trainers and some of the young workers who give their impressions of safety procedures, training and orientation, dealing with robberies and other on-the-job dangers. You’ll learn about the company’s “induction program,” and the enthusiasm of new workers there. You’ll meet “safety mentors” and “safety buddies” and find out why London Drugs includes parents in their safety process.
