About Us

The Akisqnuknik Development Corporation (ADC) is a community based economic development organization. ADC is made up of 5 Business units:
1. ADC- a management company specializing in building tourism based products that encompass Ktunaxa values in its core business base, and generated wealth and profit for its members.
2. Little Badger Early Learning Program (LBELP)-A Montessori-style of early learning program geared towards school- readiness with a curriculum focusing on the environment, and good citizenship. Also offer Summer Recreation Programs with an emphasis on cross-cultural education with a key focus on Kunaxa Culture.
3 Lakeshore Resort and Campground (LSRC) a 130 unit campgroung located on the shores of Lake Windermere offering daily, weekly and monthly camping as well as yearly lot rentals.
4. Chisel Peak Guide Outfitter (CPGO) a newly established business unit that will operate, execute and manage the commercial backcountry tenures associated with GOT 0425G001.
5. Billboards & Signage-Provides Billboard Advertising and Marketing opportunities for the general public located on Reserve lands adjacent to Hwy 93/95 in the Upper Columbia Valley
