About Us
The Richmond Economic Development Office is a department of the City of Richmond with a mandate to strategically grow Richmond’s business and employment base and ensure the City maintains a competitive business environment.
As the designated recipient of the community's MRDT funding, we also facilitate the funding agreement and Team Richmond partnership between the City of Richmond, Richmond Hotel Association, and Tourism Richmond.
