About Us

The home base for TIME Family of Wines is at TIME Winery & Kitchen in Penticton, BC, where four of our storied BC wine labels live: the McWatters family legacy brand the McWatters Collection, Evolve Cellars, TIME Winery, and our newest label addition, Chronos. The wines are made using grapes grown in the Okanagan Valley. The unique terroir of the region allows complex flavours to develop, giving the wines a rich and authentic Okanagan taste. The winery team has leveraged its long-standing relationships with growers to access the best fruit for our family of wine brands.

Many recognize the McWatters name, a family that has created more than 50 vintages in the Okanagan; led by the late founder Harry McWatters, a trailblazer and icon in the Okanagan Valley wine region. In 2020 Ron and Shelley Mayert became the new owners of TIME Family of Wines and have injected new energy into the winery. The Mayerts are now well-positioned to ensure continuity of what the McWatters family has established and can build from there with the next generation: Christa-Lee McWatters as General Manager and sister Darrien McWatters as the operations manager. Each sibling is armed with lifelong wine industry experience and insight.

Lynzee Schatz, winemaker, crafts the portfolio of distinctly different labels by working with grape growers to source top-quality fruit. The goal is to produce the best BC wine via its downtown crush pad located in the heart of wine country.

Gaining a strong reputation for its culinary offerings, TIME Winery & Kitchen’s food service is guided by Chef AK Campbell, whose emphasis on burgers and upscale casual dishes keeps people coming back for more.
