About Us

The Vernon Community Arts Centre focuses on arts education for people of all ages and abilities, and showcases the work of local artists. It is also home to the administrative offices of the Arts Council of the North Okanagan, the non-profit society that operates the Centre.

The Arts Centre offers a variety of Classes, Camps and Workshops for beginner, intermediate and professional artists. Studio Drop-in Sessions are available for members, allowing them access to specialized studios, tools, and equipment. Our Joining Hands program provides adults living with differing abilities the opportunity to participate in artistic activities in a social and supportive setting. The VCAC’s Centre Gallery and Art Shop showcase the work of both emerging and established artists, and is the perfect place to find a unique gift or piece for your home. Art supplies are also available, ensuring students and visiting artists have access to everything they need.
