Job Description
Into The Vineyard is a global, luxury travel provider specializing in bespoke travel in the most inspiring wine regions of the world. Celebrating our 12th year, we have a customer-obsessed culture and hire unique individuals to help us create and deliver unforgettable experiences for our travelers. We are expanding and seeking a dynamic Luxury Travel Specialist focused on wine trip sales & planning to join our team. First and foremost, you are passionate about travel and excited to discover and share the world with others. You are committed to exceptional quality and service, and are a natural communicator and collaborator. You also have an interest in wine and a willingness to take courses to expand your knowledge of the wine industry.
Sales and Planning
● Field inquiries, nurture and convert leads to confirmed travel bookings
● Work with our clientele to design their luxury travel to the wine regions of the world
● Provide the highest level of customer service before, during and after the client’s holiday
● Follow up with clients after their travel
● Build relationships with Into The Vineyard clients to foster repeat business and retention
● Develop the Private Label Trip series, working with wine industry companies and developing corporate trips
Business Development
● Actively promote Into The Vineyard in the local community
● Support the organization of Into The Vineyard events and promotions
● Develop new clientele for Into The Vineyard
● Expand familiarity with luxury wine travel destinations and provide manage the overall development of new itineraries and experiences
General Responsibilities:
● The overall role requires the support as called upon to foster the growth of Into The Vineyard. This requires the flexibility to problem solve, take initiative as necessary and contribute to Into The Vineyard’s culture and values.
● Manage a portfolio of high net worth individuals and craft luxurious private trips for their family, colleagues and other social groups.
● Oversee all relevant project management steps necessary to deliver the world’s premier travel experiences. This includes directing numerous suppliers and business partners across a virtual network, trip budgeting, contract negotiations and document management, all within tight deadlines.
● Contribute to overall business goals, by providing input and measurement of key performance marks for each departure focusing on trip quality, profitability, and business development.
● Develop and foster key business relationships with destination management companies, travel suppliers, local wine industry personalities, media, and wineries.
● Contribute as a team member to the Into The Vineyard group development, policies and procedures.

● Work hand-in-hand with our wine travel team to provide seamless care for our clientele
● Attend company meetings and events
● Meet and exceed agreed upon targets
● Be on the lookout for talented agents to join the team
● Train wine travel to new employees
Responsibilities & Qualifications
● Advanced knowledge and experience with sales in a luxury tour operator setting
● In depth knowledge and first hand experience of the great wine regions of the world
● Experience working with travel booking and CRM software
● Written and spoken Italian/French/Spanish language skills are an asset
● Training and experience with Microsoft Office 365
● WSET level 2 or higher preferred
