POSITION SUMMARY:

Alcohol Hawkers carry trays of alcoholic beverages around the concourse and into the bowl, providing efficient and friendly alcohol service to our guests. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position. A typical shift includes:

-Providing premium level quick service carrying trays of alcoholic beverages throughout the concourse area and into the bowl
-Offering up-beat, energetic sales to guests
-Other duties as required

Responsibilities & Qualifications

-Must be at least 19 years of age
-Must be able to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays with a start time of approximately 5:15pm
-Must be able to safely lift up to 35 lbs.
-Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
-Completion of Serving it Right Certificate
-Strong communication and listening skills and the ability to communicate with guests and respond to inquiries
-Have an incredible ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-volume environment while maintaining a first-in-class hospitality and food and beverage experience
-Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit expiring no earlier than October 2024
-This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
