Mental Health & Psychological Safety Consultant

Nicole’s goal is to integrate physical and psychological health and safety principles into every facet of the workplace environment. She holds an Occupational Health and Safety Diploma from BCIT and a Bachelor of Arts from McGill University, where she was a member of the McGill Women’s Hockey Team and led the McGill Student Athlete Mental Health Initiative. Additionally, Nicole is certified Psychological Health & Safety Navigator and holds a Mental Health First Aid Certification.

Previously, Nicole worked as a Health and Safety Coordinator at the Sunshine Coast Regional District, focusing on enhancing occupational health and safety throughout the organization. Earlier in her career, Nicole worked as a Health and Safety Officer at the Vancouver Aquarium. In this role, she ensured compliance with regulatory requirements, co-chaired the Mental Health Committee, implemented best practices, maintained the COR program, and provided guidance to staff, volunteers, and guests.
