Servers create a positive experience for our guests by providing excellent customer service while taking and delivering food and beverage orders

Responsibilities & Qualifications

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (include but not limited to the following):
-Greet guests, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverage
– Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar team
– Recommend wines that compliment guests meals
– Serve food and beverages
– Present bill to guests and accept payment
– Bus tables and maintain clean work area
– Accurate reconciliation of receipts at conclusion of shift
– Upsell food and alcoholic beverages with either add-ons or premium brands.
– Maintain safe and efficient work practices
– Check guests’ picture id to ensure they meet minimum age requirement for the consumption of alcoholic beverages
– Provides accurate information to Guests regarding all area facilities and services, operation hours, etc. for both Downhill and Cross Country areas
– Caters to Guest needs and handles complaints in a pleasant and helpful manner
– Keeps updated on current events/promotions and informs Guests of the same
– Responsible to check on changes to policy and/or procedures
– Follows new procedures as required

QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES:
– Friendly and helpful
– Payment experience and/or solid record of responsibility
– Ability to remain organized and courteous when under pressure
– Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
– Aptitude for electronic equipment and mathematical skills
– Ability to adapt to change

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
– High School or equivalent
– Experience in a restaurant environment is an asset
– Previous serving experience an asset

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
– Serving it Right certificate required
– Food Safe Certification an asset
– Must be able to legally work in Canada

18/hour + tips
