Haywire Winery in Summerland, BC is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our hospitality-focused team. As a tasting room associate, you will work alongside our educated team while providing exceptional guest service, hosting guests, serving wine, and completing daily operational duties. Our winery is dedicated to organic farming, viticulture and winemaking, crafting wines that receive critical acclaim globally. We are looking for friendly, energetic individuals with a passion for wine and the ability to multitask while providing our guests with an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Required Duties of the Position:
Customer Service:
-Welcome guests while providing a memorable wine experience
Promote sales in the tasting lounge and encourage guests to join the wine club
-Manage retail transactions, including POS and reservation systems
-Answering telephone and email inquiries
-Maintain cleanliness of work area’s & restocking as required
Preferred Qualifications:
-Must have a passion for Okanagan wine with WSET or similar
Hospitality service in a fast paced environment
Ability to work well individually and within a team
-Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
-Attention to detail and clean work habits
-Food Safe Certificate is an asset
-Experience with Commerce 7 & Tock

Must haves:
-Over 19 years of age
-Ability to lift 35lbs and stand for extended periods of time
-Able to work weekends and holidays
-Serving it Right certificate required
