Responsibilities & Qualifications

Essential Functions
 Promptly and efficiently fill orders according to bill flow. Guarantee recipes are correctly executed.
 Run various pieces of kitchen equipment and know the cooking requirements of each dish.
 Be knowledgeable about menu items, menus changes, and food preparation procedures to ensure a remarkably consistent guest experience.
 Ensure safe food handling procedures are followed 100% of the time.
 Prepare items to meet guest requests and prepare support items as required.
 Steward kitchen inventory daily and assist in ordering as required.
 Control waste and work to high efficiency with food ingredients.
 Proactively refill the line with ingredients / condiments / supplies. Guarantee organization of fridges, freezers, and storage areas.
 Follow a “clean as you go” mantra to ensure that the kitchen area is always clean, sanitized, and orderly including managing the dish pit.
 Work each shift with a safety mindset. Be proactive regarding front of the house and back of the house safety (food safety, potential hazards for employees or guests).

 The ability to wear many hats without missing a beat — you’re the ultimate multitasking virtuoso!
 Exceptional communication skills, capable of turning every interaction into a delightful experience.
 You are a genuine and vibrant team player and model leadership in all areas of the kitchen.
 Previous culinary experience required – 4 years preferred, Level 2, 3, Red Seal.
 Foodsafe Certificate – Level 1 minimum.
 You pride yourself on your ability to learn new skills, your ability to work efficiently and effectively, your reliability and your ability to keep your cool even during the busiest shifts.
 You have experience cooking independently in a rural resort environment, feel comfortable being creative, and love the challenge of maximizing ingredient usage to prevent waste.
 A genuine appreciation for the outdoors and the ability to transform ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.

Salary/Wage
