Job Description

Cariboo Chilcotin Coast Tourism is seeking a talented individual to join our team to develop and grow the tourism industry in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region of British Columbia. Responsibilities may include:

Coordination of grant funded innovation projects
Maintain confidential, internal lists
Lead and manage planning of organizational events
Maintain website with suitable content
Support FAM tours (itineraries, greet or lead)
Respond to inquires
Manage financial budgets, stakeholder communications, funding applications, reporting, timelines & deliverables as required
Support Executive team with travel, planning, logistics, bookings, meeting replies, presentation materials and budgeting
Organization of attendees for events, including coordination and sending invitations and managing replies
Work with external suppliers
Recommend innovative projects, tools and ideas

Responsibilities & Qualifications

The right candidate for this position is passionate about the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast region.

This position will operate with the CCCT team office based in Williams Lake, BC and applicants should reside or be willing to move within the region. Travel within the region, province and country might be required.

Post-secondary education in project management, administration, office management, public relations, communications, journalism or related discipline is an asset.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook required. Strong communication skills and the ability to build quality relationships are essential in this position.

Salary/Wage

22.00-25.00
