Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to join our Residential Property & Hotel Management Companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping. This role involves managing financial data, ensuring accuracy in accounts, preparing and reviewing month-end financial reports and liaising with vendors, banks property managers and reporting directly with the business directors. The Senior Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in managing the flow of data, filings and reports of all company
divisions.

Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping for a group of businesses
Record daily sales and expenses
Perform bank and credit card account reconciliations
Month-end review of business reports (Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss) to identify discrepancies and resolve issues
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or other accounting software
Collaborate with other staff divisions- to provide bookkeeping data
Generate financial reports for review and decision making.
Prepare month end and year-end data for external accountants of each business
Prepare account payables and account receivables.
Requirements
Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
Experience with bookkeeping in the following industries – retail (POS/tender
reconciling), hotels, apartment rentals.
Proficiency in accounting software
Knowledge of Yardi and Innsource PMS system required.
Understanding of how to record payroll entries into accounting software.
Experience with budgeting and account reconciliation processes.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Aptitude for learning new programs and software.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
Willingness to investigate discrepancies.
Training, Certification in Accounting is a plus but not required.
