Job Description
Fly & Sea Dive Adventures is the premier choice for the travelling scuba diver.
We have been in business over 25 years with a client base across N. America.
Join our growing team of highly creative professionals in the industry; we are passionate about travel, diving & personal service. We believe in exploring responsible tourism & support initiatives which protect our oceans.
You love the travel industry, have personal adventure travel experience, and you may even be a diver. You have a “can do” attitude and reside in the Greater Vancouver area. We offer work from home options and will train you in all dive travel specifics.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Duties & Responsibilities
– Sales of dive travel packages & related products– including air tickets, liveaboards, land-based accommodation with day diving, travel insurance etc. Mostly via email and telephone (no walk-in traffic).
– Sales of add-on soft adventure travel products
– Developing & maintaining client relationships
– Keeping your travel education up to date & current on airline contracts, our preferred suppliers & the latest in the travel industry
Qualifications & Experience
– Minimum: completion of travel training program and/or 6 months agency/wholesaler sales experience preferably related to the adventure travel market
– Licensed to sell travel insurance
– Personal international adventure travel experience
– Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
– Previous sales and/or customer service positions, preferably travel industry
– Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
– Knowledge of airline booking systems
– Team player
– Ability to multi-task & to work independently
– Attention to detail & exceptional organizational skills
– Friendly & positive attitude with a good sense of humor
– Highly motivated in all aspects of selling travel
– If you are an active diver, this would give you an advantage

Remuneration: salary, generous benefits plan plus travel and dive incentives

18-22 per hr
