Job Description

As Sous Chef, you’ll be responsible for a dedicated section of our kitchen, ensuring everything from preparation to plating meets our standards of excellence. Working side-by-side with our kitchen team, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Requirements:
-Experience & Education: Minimum 1 -3 years as a Lead Cook or Chef de Partie; high school diploma required, with a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts or Gastronomy highly preferred. Level 2 -Food Safe Certification is desirable.

Skills & Abilities:
-Proficient in food preparation, knife handling, and kitchen equipment; strong attention to detail, organization, and accountability; able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks.
-Culinary Knowledge & Teamwork: Deep understanding of culinary practices, safety, and special dietary needs; team player with effective communication skills; innovative, creative, and thrives in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

Station Management: Organize, prepare, and maintain your station for service; ensure cleanliness, order, and readiness.
Preparation & Cooking: Prepare, cook, and plate dishes to our presentation standards; support special events and new menu items.
Training & Support: Guide and support junior kitchen staff; help new hires get settled, and communicate effectively with the team.
Quality Control: Check ingredients and final dishes for flavor, appearance, and quality before service.
Inventory & Supplies: Track inventory and stock at your station; assist with regular inventory counts and quality checks.
Safety & Compliance: Keep your station and kitchen safe, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
