Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Private Dining Chef to provide exceptional culinary experiences for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and safety, along with excellent leadership and team management skills. As a Private Chef, you will be responsible for creating group dining menus, sourcing high-quality ingredients, and delivering outstanding meals that cater to individual tastes and dietary requirements.

The Private Dining Chef will also contribute to the a la carte dining program when required.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties:

– Develop and prepare customized group menus based on client preferences and dietary restrictions.
– Ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in all food handling and preparation processes.
– Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and cleanliness.
– Collaborate with sales team to understand their client’s culinary needs and provide exceptional service.
– Oversee food preparation activities, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and quality.
– Train and supervise kitchen staff as needed to maintain a cohesive team environment.
– Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to continuously enhance the dining experience.
– Assisting with purchasing and receiving

Experience:

– Proven experience in food handling and preparation within a professional kitchen setting.
– Background in group dining, banqueting and a la carte dining is required.
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
– Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the culinary industry.
– Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.

Salary/Wage

$50,000 - $65,000
