About Us
Attractions Victoria is a local non-profit organization that was formed in 1972. Today, the organization has 44 members and fosters new relationships and partnership opportunities between its members. Monthly meetings provide a space where funds and ideas can be shared in the form of collective advertising initiatives. Attractions Victoria has three main deliverables. The first is the Official Destination Flat Map for Victoria, BC. This is put together in partnership with Tourism Victoria and the Greater Victoria Harbour Authority. The second is the folded map, which is widely distributed throughout BC, Alberta, and Washington State. The third is the annual Be A Tourist in Your Own Hometown event. On top of these three largest initiatives, Attractions Victoria is involved in many other ways within the tourism community in Victoria and even extending to the USA.
